Account books in GnuCash format

GnuCash can save files in a number of different formats. In order to use a GnuCash file with Accounts Machine, it must be in SQLite format. The format can be selected on the Save menu.

If your file is in a different file, you can temporarily create a SQLite version of the file using Save As under the File menu.

Accounts mapping

In order to make it easier to import your books, you should consider laying out the VAT accounts in accordance with the GnuCash UK VAT template. You can use the Edit mapping view to change your accounts mapping if you have laid your accounts out differently.
